I hope you do! I pray you do!

What kind of list, you ask? A list of names. Names of people that you pray for daily—a list that remains private, known only to you and God.

We all need prayer. In this tumultuous world, we are engaged in a spiritual battle, and prayers are the engine that keeps us moving forward. We must stand in the gap for one another.

Many individuals hesitate to share the desires of their hearts or the struggles they face due to fear. But remember, God knows each of those struggles intimately. So, take a moment each day to name them before Him in Jesus' name.

Make that list. And don’t stop there; keep adding to it. Now more than ever, the prince of the air is on a mission to destroy our world, our country, our families, our marriages, our children, and future generations.

Consider adding those to your list whom you find difficult to pray for. Yes, those very individuals may need your prayers the most! It’s a powerful reminder that prayer not only changes situations but transforms us as well, sending heaven's army into action.

So take a moment today, grab a pen, and start your list. Your prayers matter. They have the potential to create ripples of change in the lives of those you love and even those you struggle to love.

Here’s a list of prayer points with their corresponding full scripture references from the English Standard Version (ESV):

Withhold Judgment
   Numbers 14:13-19
"But Moses said to the LORD, 'Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them, and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O LORD, are in the midst of this people. For you, O LORD, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them, and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. Now if you kill this people as one man, then the nations who have heard your fame will say, “It is because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to give them, that he has killed them in the wilderness.” And now, please let the power of the LORD be great as you have promised, saying, “The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation.” Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.'"

Restoration
   Nehemiah 1:5-11
"And I said, 'O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments: let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned. We have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, and the rules that you commanded your servant Moses. Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, “If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples, but if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there.” They are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand. O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.'"

Rescue from Danger
   Acts 12:5
"So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church."

Bless God's People
   Numbers 6:24-26
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."

Holy Spirit's Power to Come
   Acts 8:15-17
"Who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit."

People to be Healed
   James 5:14-16
"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

Forgiveness of Sins
   Acts 7:60
"And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, 'Lord, do not hold this sin against them.' And when he had said this, he fell asleep."

Spiritual Growth of Believers
   Philippians 1:9-11
"And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."

Effective Pastors
   2 Timothy 1:3-7
"I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

For Effective Mission Work
    Matthew 9:38
"Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

For Spiritual Salvation
    Romans 10:1
"Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved."

For People to Praise God
    Psalm 67:3-5
"Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!"

God's Will
   Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

God Bless!
