My Testimony

Hello! Jennifer here again, and I am so grateful that you have come to read the blog.

I have been intentional with these blogs that I don't focus on self but on adding value to you, my dear reader. With that said, I want you to know the things I write about are things that I have learned through revelation in my time with God, whether reading the Bible or through personal experiences. Trust me, a mere few years ago, I had no idea what the Old and New Testament meant, who Esther was, nor could I tell you Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were the Gospels.

What qualifies me to share these teachings is not a degree, but rather through my personal experiences. A few years ago, I went through a rattling when I found out my mother was sick with cancer. During this time, I drew close to Jesus, and in this closeness, He revealed much. He brought to life Scriptures like:

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2, NIV)

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." (Isaiah 61:1-3, NIV)

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:19, NIV)

Also, I attended a women's ministry event where someone offered prayer for me when I asked for prayer for my mother and husband. After that night, a lot changed.

The Father’s House Study

The Father’s House Study exists to help women who feel ‘stuck’ in the rhythms of Christianity, yet dare to believe there is more ahead than they can imagine with Father God.

Then a few months later, I went through a Bible study called Father’s House (I will link it here). My rose-colored glasses that I had worn were removed. I always had a positive outlook on everything, even in the things that weren't aligned with what God would want for me.

Coming out in January will be my entire story from birth to just recently in my book, "Blooming in the Shadows: From Grief to Grace." I will also be sharing the tools that helped me during the hardest battle in my life - seeing the truth for the first time.

Friend, I don't know what battles you may be facing today, but I want to encourage you that God sees you, He loves you, and He has a plan for your life. Just as He met me in my lowest valley, He wants to meet you in yours. I pray that my story and the Scriptures that sustained me will bring you hope and point you to the ultimate Healer and Redeemer. You are not alone, and your story is still being written. Cling to Jesus, lean into His Word, and watch how He makes beauty from ashes.

From a place of restoration I send you His LOVE!

Jennifer Mehling
