Posed Newborn Session – Roswell Newborn Photographer

 

I love a posed newborn session!  They happen to be my favorite type session, but they are definitely the hardest and most time consuming.  I shot this session in Roswell, GA in my client’s home.  I call myself the ‘Traveling Photographer’ because I currently shoot only outdoor on location and in my client’s homes.  I am studioless at this present time.  I do hope to have my own space in 2019.  Until then don’t worry I will communicate with you as far as what to expect and how to prepare your home.  I come with a car load of props, backdrops, wraps and baby soothing devices.

There is nothing in my opinion as sweet as a photo of a sleeping posed baby, which is why it’s my favorite.  It’s a time to cherish and remember every sound, roll and snuggle because the newborn phase is over before we blink.  There is a lot that goes into getting the perfect sleepy posed newborn photo.  Lots of education on baby safety, creating the right conditions and lots of practice.  Every new baby is different, so it’s a wonderful challenge for me to create something to be cherished for lifetimes.

If you’re reading this and are considering hiring a newborn photographer I hope you consider using me!  There is so much that goes into choosing the right photographer.   Do all your research and go with your gut!
